Anton Janer Takes the Reins as Abios CEO

Anton Janer has been selected to helm Abios as its latest Chief Executive Officer. He’s assuming the position from Oskar Fröberg, who established the company alongside Janer in 2013. Fröberg departs following a prosperous period as CEO, during which he supervised Abios’s purchase by the Kambi Group in 2021.

Janer has held the position of Abios’s Chief Technology Officer from its inception, bringing a wealth of expertise and understanding to the CEO role. He is enthusiastic about expanding upon the company’s achievements and envisions a promising future.

Regarding Abios’s trajectory, they have been making significant strides recently as a component of the Kambi Group. They have already incorporated their esports wagering data for digital soccer into Kambi’s framework and are preparing to incorporate additional esports titles shortly, encompassing basketball, Counter-Strike, and League of Legends. Collectively, Kambi and Abios are encompassing a substantial quantity of esports contests each month – totaling thousands!

Collaborating with Oskar at Abios throughout this period has been an extraordinary experience. Our joint efforts have propelled the organization to a leading position within our sector. I am incredibly enthusiastic about Abios’s future prospects and eagerly anticipate our upcoming achievements alongside this exceptional group.
