Amaya Gaming has brought on board Robin Chhabra, a veteran leader from William Hill, to head their business growth strategies as the Chief Corporate Development Officer.
Chhabra possesses over ten years of expertise from leading financial, advisory, and accounting companies, including a fruitful period as the Corporate Development Director at Inspired Gaming Group. His time at William Hill, where he held the position of Director of Strategy and Corporate Development since 2010, has garnered him widespread acclaim within the industry.
Amaya’s CEO, Rafi Ashkenazi, voiced his belief in Chhabra’s capacity to foster expansion, noting that his “vast industry knowledge and connections will be key in implementing our strategic blueprint and driving the company ahead through strategic ventures and prospects.”
Ashkenazi further lauded Chhabra as “one of the most esteemed executives in the field” and extended a warm welcome to him, joining the “already outstanding leadership team.”
Chhabra conveyed his excitement about joining Amaya, recognizing their top position in the online gaming market and expressing his eagerness to contribute to their ongoing achievements. He relayed his admiration for the executive team and his anticipation of working alongside them.
Chhabra is slated to step into his new position in September 2017, after a brief departure from William Hill.
