The Curaçao Gaming Control Board (GCB) has designated Mr. Cedric Peters as its latest Chief Executive. This assignment arrives at a critical juncture, as Curaçao aims to modernize its internet gaming regulations.
Mr. Peters contributes two decades of knowledge from the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS), where he occupied various positions in supervisory and leadership capacities. His concentration will be on improving operational effectiveness, bolstering anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and guaranteeing regulatory adherence under the updated National Ordinance.
Mr. Peters conveyed his eagerness, remarking, “I am privileged to enter the Gaming Control Board at this pivotal instant. I am certain that, alongside the staff and the Supervisory Board, we will guide the GCB into a fresh period while generating value for all participants, encompassing the Minister of Finance.”
