Hard Rock Atlantic City Appoints New Leadership Duo

The Atlantic City Hard Rock has designated a powerful pair to oversee the casino resort. Seasoned professionals, George Goldhoff and Mike Sampson, are assuming the positions of President and General Manager, respectively, awaiting regulatory authorization. Goldhoff contributes a wealth of expertise from his tenure at renowned establishments like the Rainbow Room and New York City’s Plaza Hotel. Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International, conveyed his faith in Goldhoff, citing his established history of accomplishments, particularly emphasizing his triumph in Cincinnati where he elevated a rebranded establishment into a market frontrunner within a mere three years. Allen is optimistic that Goldhoff will mirror this success in Atlantic City. Sampson also possesses an exceptional background with prior executive roles at Trump Entertainment Resorts and Seneca Gaming Corporation. Hard Rock Atlantic City, one of the city’s most substantial casinos, commenced operations in 2018 at the location of the former Trump Taj Mahal, revitalizing the boardwalk. This declaration follows Hard Rock International’s remarkable fundraising endeavor through its 23rd yearly Pinktober initiative, which yielded over $1 million for breast cancer research.

During October, Hard Rock venues globally – including eateries, lodgings, and even gaming establishments – dedicated themselves to a worthy endeavor. We’re discussing special menus, unique merchandise, and even competitions for composing music! This is not out of character for Hard Rock, as they have consistently prioritized philanthropy, but they significantly amplified their efforts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
