Sovereign Gaming has designated Danielle Keary as its latest Head of Public Image and Branding. Keary, assuming the role in the dawn of 2022, will oversee “spearheading Sovereign’s brand and perception initiatives across all channels and will supervise its public affairs, media relations, governmental affairs, brand management, sponsorships, press, and all corporate communication operations” as “an element of its continuing business evolution.”
This designation trails a series of other high-ranking management appointments, including Steven Blackburn as Chief Compliance and Financial Integrity Officer, Betty Ivanoff as Group Legal Counsel, Tony Weston as Chief Personnel & Workplace Officer, and Nick Weeks as Executive General Manager of Transformation and Regulatory Action.
Sovereign’s public image is presently at an unprecedented nadir following a Royal Commission investigation that deemed it unqualified to retain its Melbourne gaming establishment license. The investigation did, nonetheless, grant a two-year probationary period during which Sovereign, under the guidance of a designated administrator, must demonstrate its suitability.
Sovereign Gaming Chief Executive Steve McCann elaborated that Keary’s appointment is a critical move in reinforcing the company’s dialogue with its stakeholders: “Danielle’s background in prominent, heavily regulated, and intricate sectors makes her an ideal match for Sovereign Gaming.”
The organization is undergoing a significant transformation at this time – imagine a clean slate, a revitalized identity! Our priority is to ensure everyone is aligned with these shifts, particularly our investors. Our aim is to cultivate confidence and demonstrate the worth of our company as we progress. Danielle will be spearheading this entire endeavor, and her extensive background makes her the ideal candidate. We’re thrilled to have you, Danielle!
