The prominent Netherlands football club, Ajax, has secured a regional sponsorship agreement with the Asian gaming company, KB88.
The club, based in Amsterdam, revealed that KB88 will act as their official Asian gaming associate for the upcoming two seasons. It is estimated that the agreement will bring in €400,000 annually for Ajax.
The terms of the partnership include Ajax utilizing its online and social media channels, specifically the Chinese platform Sina Weibo, to elevate the KB88 brand.
“Ajax is thrilled to unveil this new partnership with KB88,” Ajax CEO Edwin van der Sar shared on the club’s website. “We are continuously exploring avenues to engage our expanding fanbase in Asia and to further cultivate the Ajax brand internationally.”
“Building upon prior collaborations with Asian corporations such as Huawei, this partnership felt like a logical progression and we are eager to embark on this pan-Asian collaboration.”
KB88’s Darren Royle remarked: “Ajax is a colossal club with a rich history and a renowned standing for nurturing young athletes. Ajax will guarantee our promotion across the region.”
