Marking their fifth year in operation, Betby, a developer of sports wagering platforms, showed their generosity by holding a fundraising auction to support young people impacted by the conflict in Ukraine.
The gathering, which included an awards presentation and remarks from company executives, generated proceeds for Common Ground, a community hub in Riga, Latvia (where Betby also maintains an office). Common Ground will utilize the donation to organize a festive celebration for the children. Betby generously contributed an equal sum to the auction proceeds, amplifying the effect of their gift.
Leonid Pertsovskiy, Betby’s Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the significance of charitable giving: “Commemorating our fifth anniversary by contributing to our community here in Riga seemed like the ideal way to observe the event. We take pride in prioritizing our employees, and our company wouldn’t be where it is today without our skilled and committed team. My sincere gratitude goes out to everyone who has played a role in this remarkable journey.”
The auction showcased 12 items donated by Betby’s leadership team.

From the beginning of 2023, Betby has collaborated with Common Ground to assist those uprooted by the conflict in Ukraine, aiding their assimilation into unfamiliar communities.
