Flutter Entertainment has declared that its Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power, and Betfair labels have attained GamCare’s Advanced Safer Gambling Standards.
The labels have been bestowed the Gold Advanced Level 3 accreditation, the most elevated level of certification provided by GamCare, subsequent to a recent evaluation by the gambling harm charity.
GamCare has also lauded Flutter for fostering a positive environment of safe gambling across its UK and Irish labels, and for incorporating processes into its internal frameworks, such as online learning, staff communication, and support services.
The Safer Gambling Standard is an independent mark granted to operators that surpass their licensing responsibilities to shield customers from gambling-related harm.
Since the previous assessment in 2020, Flutter has implemented a variety of safer gambling measures across its labels, including becoming the initial operator to enforce mandatory deposit limits for customers under the age of 25.
Flutter has also invested in its gambling team, which now has over 200 associates dedicated to assisting the operator in safeguarding its customers.
Flutters online bingo brand, “Tombola,” also meets the highest Level 3 standards and will be reevaluated by GamCare in the upcoming months to ensure it continues to fulfill the requirements for this level.
