The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has selected Genius Sports as the official data provider for its sports wagering operations.
BCLC has inked a long-term agreement with Genius Sports to utilize their LiveData and LiveTrading services, supplying real-time data and pricing for countless sporting events each year.
The collaboration encompasses Genius Sports’ complete portfolio of official data rights, including the Canadian Premier League and top-tier club football matches in the English Premier League, as well as the EuroLeague basketball competition.
“BCLC’s partnership with Genius Sports demonstrates that Canada’s developing sports wagering industry acknowledges the significance of official data in safeguarding consumers and delivering the safest, most engaging products for customers,” stated Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports.
