The gaming firm, STS Group, achieved a record-breaking total gaming revenue (GGR) of 1.62 billion Polish zlotys (equivalent to £29.5 million/€33.7 million) in the third quarter. This represents a 20.8% increase compared to the third quarter of 2021, when STS’s GGR was 1.34 billion Polish zlotys.
The total amount wagered by customers in the quarter was 11.1 billion Polish zlotys, a 5.5% increase compared to the third quarter of 2021.
The third quarter saw 81,000 new sign-ups, compared to 66,000 in the previous third quarter. The number of first-time deposit customers was 57,000, an increase of 26.6%.
For the three quarters ending September 30, GGR was 4.58 billion Polish zlotys, a 6.7% increase compared to the same period in 2021.
From the first to the third quarter of 2022, the total amount wagered by customers was 33.0 billion Polish zlotys, a 0.7% increase compared to 32.7 billion Polish zlotys in 2021.
STS recorded 576,000 active users in the first nine months of 2022. In addition, the operator recorded 237,000 new sign-ups and 163,000 first-time deposit customers.
“From July to September, we generated the highest quarterly NGR rate in our history, at 1.62 billion Polish zlotys,” said Mateusz Juroszek, CEO of STS.
“We are noticing high player activity, which will have a positive impact on our performance in the fourth quarter of 2022.”
Juroszek also stated that September was a particularly successful month for active users.
The month of September witnessed a robust showing in terms of active users, hitting 281,000, marking the second-highest monthly outcome in the company’s history.
STS’s earnings for the second quarter of 2022 experienced a decline of 16.6%, settling at 138 Polish zlotys.
