The Isle of Man Digital Agency has hired Chris Kissack as the new leader of Esports.
Kissack will begin his new position on August 3rd and will be working to launch the agency’s own esports program in the near future.
Kissack comes from his position as an esports specialist at Amber Gaming, where he was in charge of overseeing tournament prize funds and safeguarding the rights of esports athletes.
“I’m excited to continue my work to elevate the Isle of Man’s presence in esports,” stated Kissack. “I’m eager to join the agency and collaborate with local companies and organizations to carry out the Isle of Man’s esports plan, embrace this flourishing sector, and help it expand for the benefit of the island.”
Lyle Wraxall, Chief Executive Officer of the Isle of Man Digital Agency, added: “I am thrilled to welcome Chris to our team; finding the ideal individual to lead this emerging and captivating project for the island was essential.”
Chriss experience, skill, and enthusiasm for Isle of Man esports make him ideally suited for this position.
Digital Isle of Man’s area of responsibility is extensive, encompassing online gaming, esports, financial technology, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), technology, payments, media, and film.
